CompetitiveSuccess.com is an outgrowth of the Venture-PreneursTM Network, which served the northeastern USA business community by providing face-to-face networking meetings in Boston, Massachusetts. Founded by Dr. Michael E. Gordon in 1994, the Venture-Preneurs Network had four missions:
- To assist in the funding of emerging ventures.
- To present pre-screened deals to capital providers.
- To educate entrepreneurs on the investor mentality.
- To provide vigorous meeting forums for all business professionals.
The Venture-Preneurs Network went online in 1997 as AngelDeals.com, a virtual global network for business owners, future entrepreneurs and funding sources. The primary purpose of AngelDeals.com was to connect existing and new ventures with capital providers – private angels, venture capital groups and other funding sources.
Today, the site has emerged as www.CompetitiveSuccess.com, offering distance learning Entrepreneurship Courses and Entrepreneurial Resources for business owners and future entrepreneurs.
Our Entrepreneurship Courses provide a unique distance learning modality. You experience the classroom dynamics as if you were sitting at the head of a conference table with 20 other entrepreneurs. In advance, you will have studied each case and completed the case analyses. You play – pause – rewind at your own pace. Throughout the course, you can download models and frameworks as needed. Most importantly, you apply what you are learning to your existing business or new venture.
Our Entrepreneurial Resources section is comprised of a business planning package, a checklist on raising capital, a PowerPoint template for an investor presentation and samples of business forms, contracts and checklists.
